This is a little video put together by my husband, who wrote and played the music and his brother Tony who put together the video. My Dad; Keith Whetton, who died just after his 61st birthday on 3rd October 2006 of Mesothelioma, caught from working with asbestos during his working life. He left a wife, 4 daughters and numerous grand-children and great-grand-children. He is much missed by all of us. The compensation battle goes on, 5 years after he was diagnosed, it stil drags on.

Mesothelioma Awareness Day

Mesothelioma kills 3000 people each year – the same number killed in the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001. Three thousand deaths EVERY year, caused by asbestos. There is a bill before Congress that would finally totally ban asbestos in the United States. In recognition of National Mesothelioma Awareness Day, Sept. 26, we encourage support of the Bruce Vento Ban Asbestos and Prevent Mesothelioma Act.

I’m not sure since Pearl is for lung cancer and things pertaining to the lungs. Peritoneal Mesothelioma is dealing with the abdomen area. If it’s not the same, does anyone know the color for it?
